Coral Jasmine, also known as Night Jasmine or Parijat (Nyctanthes arbor-tristis), is a fragrant flowering shrub native to South Asia. It's revered for its intensely fragrant, star-shaped white flowers that bloom at night and shed their petals by morning, creating a carpet of fragrant blooms beneath the plant. The flowers have long, narrow tubes and delicate, white petals with orange centers. The foliage consists of dark green, lance-shaped leaves arranged oppositely along the stems. Coral Jasmine is often grown for its ornamental value and its significance in various cultural and religious traditions. It thrives in warm climates with well-drained soil and full sun to partial shade.
