Also known as Mexican creeper, chain of love or queen’s wreath vine, coral vine (Antigonon leptopus) is a fast-growing tropical vine that grows in the warm climates of USDA plant hardiness zones 9 to 11. The plant usually freezes in chillier zone 8 but regrows readily in spring. Native to Mexico, coral vine is a vigorous vine with showy, dark rose, white, or pink flowers and big, heart-shaped leaves. When grown on a trellis or arbor, coral vine is dense enough to provide shade on a hot day. Coral vines can reach up to 40 feet (12 m.), often growing 8 to 10 feet (2-3 m.) in a single season.

ഇവ ചേർത്ത് നന്നായി മിക്സ് ചെയ്ത ശേഷം അതിലുള്ള കല്ലും കട്ടയും എല്ലാം എടുത്തു കളയുക..ചട്ടിയുടെ മുക്കാൽ ഭാഗവും മണ്ണ് നിറച്ച ശേഷം വെള്ളം ഒഴിച്ച് നനച്ച് 10 മിനിട്ട് വയ്ക്കുക..
വിത്തുകൾ 10 മിനിട്ട് വെയിലിൽ വച്ച ശേഷം വെള്ളം നനച്ച് വച്ച മണ്ണിന് മുകളിൽ ഇടുക..അതിനു ശേഷം ഒരു ചെറിയ ലയർ കംപോസ്റ് ഉം മണ്ണും കൂടി ഉള്ള മിക്സ് അതിന് മുകളിൽ വിതറുക ( തീരെ ചെറിയ ഒരു ലയർ)
ആദ്യ മൂന്ന് ദിവസം വെള്ളം വേറെ ആവശ്യമില്ല. അതിന് ശേഷം ദിവസവും രണ്ട് നേരം വെള്ളം സ്‌പ്രേ ചെയ്ത് കൊടുക്കുക. ഈ ചട്ടികൾ നേരിട്ട് വെയിൽ കിട്ടാത്ത സ്ഥലം നോക്കി വയ്ക്കുക.. വിത്തുകൾ കിളിർത്തു 4-5 ഇലകൾ ആയതിന് ശേഷം ആരോഗ്യം ഉള്ള തൈകൾ വേറെ ചട്ടികളിലേക്ക് മാറ്റി നടാവുന്നതാണ്...അതിന് ശേഷം ചെടികൾ വളരാൻ തുടങ്ങുന്ന സമയം ചെടികൾ വെയിൽ കിട്ടുന്ന സ്ഥലം നോക്കി വയ്ക്കുക...

How to sow the seeds..
40% soil
40% dry cow dung
20% vermicompost
(50% soil and 50% cow dung if vermicompost is not available)
Add these and mix well and remove all the stones and lumps from it.. After filling three quarters of the pan with soil, pour water and keep it wet for 10 minutes..
Leave the seeds in the sun for 10 minutes and then put them on top of the water soaked soil..then spread a small layer of compost and soil mix on top of it (a very small layer).
No water is required for the first three days. After that spray water twice a day. Keep these pots in a place that does not get direct sunlight.. After the seeds germinate and get 4-5 leaves, healthy seedlings can be transplanted to other pots.
The seeds take 14 - 21 days to germinate
Manure and compost are recommended as fertilizers.
