"Alyssum Snow White" is a specific variety of sweet alyssum, Lobularia maritima, known for its pure white flowers and compact growth habit.
This variety typically forms low mounds of foliage adorned with clusters of small, fragrant white flowers. The blooms create a stunning contrast against the plant's bright green foliage, resembling a blanket of snow when in full bloom.
Alyssum Snow White is well-suited for use as a ground cover, edging plant, or filler in containers and hanging baskets. It thrives in well-drained soil and full sunlight but can tolerate partial shade. Like other varieties of alyssum, Snow White is relatively low-maintenance and drought-tolerant once established, making it a popular choice for gardeners seeking to add elegance and fragrance to their landscape.
